Introduction

Artificial intelligence is already changing the way we interact with the world. We are using it to create digital assistants, like Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant, that can understand and respond to our commands.

As the world increasingly moves online and into virtual spaces, the potential for artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance our experience in these spaces is greater than ever. This would create a Metaverse that is not only persistent and shared, but also constantly learning and evolving.

Such a Metaverse would be a powerful tool for businesses, allowing them to create virtual worlds for training, marketing, and even sales. It could also be used for education, giving students a chance to learn in a safe, immersive environment. And because the AI-driven Metaverse would be constantly learning, it would also be able to provide personalized experiences for each individual user.

The movie Free Guy is the perfect example of an AI-driven Metaverse. It is a recommended movie.

Seven Layers of the Metaverse

Literature

While the Metaverse is still in its infancy, there is a growing need for an AI-driven Metaverse specifically for the STEM sector. This is because the STEM sector is constantly evolving and changing, and an AI-driven Metaverse would be able to keep up with the latest trends and developments.

Data

A new study predicts that developing an AI-driven metaverse — a shared, virtual space where people can interact with each other and digital objects in a realistic way — would provide significant economic value to the business sector, including $1 trillion in annual revenue by 2030.

The report, commissioned by the software company Autodesk and conducted by the research firm Juniper, surveyed executives across a range of industries about their predictions for the future of the business landscape. The results showed that businesses are expected to increasingly rely on digital tools and platforms to interact with customers and employees.

But while many businesses are already using virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies, the survey found that most are not yet taking advantage of the full potential of these tools. For instance, only 10 percent of respondents said their companies are using VR or AR for product demonstrations, and just 5 percent are using them for customer service or training.

AI-driven STEM Metaverse

The STEM sector is always looking for new ways to showcase their products, prototypes, and meetings. One way to do this is by creating an AI driven metaverse. This would be a virtual world that is powered by artificial intelligence. This would allow for a more immersive and realistic experience for those in the STEM sector. There are many benefits to this, including:

  1. Showcasing tech products: An AI powered metaverse would be the perfect place to showcase new tech products. This would allow potential customers to see the product in action and get a feel for how it works.
  2. Prototypes: Prototypes can be created and tested in an AI powered metaverse. This would allow for a more realistic testing environment and could help to speed up the development process.
  3. Meetings: Meetings can be held in an AI powered metaverse. This would allow for a more immersive and realistic experience for those attending the meeting. The quality of your experience in the metaverse will be determined by how accurately your avatar reflects you. An AI engine can analyse 2D images or 3D scans of users to create a highly realistic simulated version of them. This avatar can then be made more dynamic with a variety of facial expressions, emotions, hairstyles, and features brought on by aging.
  4. Education: The STEM sector is always looking for new ways to educate the public about their work. An AI powered metaverse would be the perfect place to do this. This would allow for a more interactive and engaging experience that would help to educate people about the work of the STEM sector.
  5. World Expansion: The true power of AI comes into play when it is given historical data to learn from. With each new output and input, including human feedback and machine learning reinforcement, the AI gets better at performing the task. Eventually, it will be able to do it almost as well as a human. For example, NVIDIA is training AI to create entire virtual worlds. This breakthrough will be instrumental in driving scalability for the metaverse, because new worlds can be added without the need for human intervention.

Conclusion

When implementing AI into the metaverse, it is important to keep in mind that the metaverse is a new area of research and operation, and certain ethical problems might arise. In order to avoid these problems, we need to make sure that the data we use to train our AI is ethically sourced. This means that it should be collected with the consent of the people involved, and it should be high-quality data that is representative of the population as a whole.

Additionally, we need to use transparent and interpretable machine learning algorithms so that we can understand how the AI is making decisions. Finally, we need to establish clear consent mechanisms so that people can opt-in or opt-out of having their data used to train the AI.

The bottom line is that there are many potential benefits to merging AI and the Metaverse. These benefits include increased social interaction, improved collaboration, enhanced learning, greater creativity, and increased accessibility.

MetaEngineers, a STEM-driven web3 tech startup, is building a virtual environment focused on research and development. Our objective is to create a focal point that would gather all tech individuals from all over the globe. A virtual environment where people are able to collaborate and develop together, whilst protecting their creatives and IP through a decentralized blockchain driven ecosystem.
